This home has undergone a thoughtful and tasteful remodel over the last four years.  It is located near the Woodland Park Zoo and great Phinney Ridge amenities on a quiet dead and road with great neighbors.  Very easy access to Highway 99 makes for a great commute.

The main rooms have new maple wood floors with a cherry finish with decorative cast iron registers on the heating ducts and Indian slate flooring thought out the kitchen, front porch and fireplace.  The kitchen has maple, Shaker style Canyon Creek cabinets and Vermont soapstone counters.  There is a Viking, four burner, stainless steel gas oven/stove and Viking exhaust hood, Bosch stainless dishwasher and Frigidaire stainless refrigerator with water and ice access in the door.  There is a stainless double sink with disposal.  Glass French doors off the kitchen opens onto a large cedar deck reinforced to support a future hot tub and summer barbeques.  The kitchen also opens onto the family room with wonderful built in cabinetry.  The main floor bedroom has the original window seat with storage.

The Master Bedroom has stunning 180 degree views of Greenlake and the mountains.  A tasteful ceiling fan helps keep temperatures cool.  The Master bathroom has French limestone throughout into a fully tiled shower with glass shower door.  There is a fully programmable heated Nuheat floor heating system.  A walk in closet has  a convenient closet system with full glide drawers.

The other two bathrooms have maintained the 1900’s look with the small 1x 1 hexagon tiles.  They have been fully tiled with subway tile and decorative tile.  Pedestal sinks and cabinet sinks with tiled tops were chosen to maintain a period feel.

Bedroom closets have built in closet systems with full glide drawers.  Also lights turn on when you open the closet doors automatically!  No more groping in the dark!

There are nine Zoo Tune Concerts in the summer and parking during those concerts will require some pre-planning.  However, the Zoo gives us two free passes to any concert for compensation.  The North entrance of the Zoo is just three blocks away!
